How long does treatment take from start to finish?

Typically three to six months for a full arch. Single implants can be quicker. A provisional set of teeth is usually fitted on the day of surgery; the final zirconia prosthesis is fitted once the implants have fully integrated with the bone.
Will I be without teeth at any point?

In most full-arch cases we fit a provisional fixed prosthesis on the day of implant placement, so you leave the clinic with teeth that day. Whether this is appropriate for you depends on clinical findings at assessment.
Is it painful?

The surgery itself is carried out under local anaesthetic, with sedation available. Post-operative discomfort is usually comparable to a routine extraction and is well controlled with standard pain relief for the first two to three days.
What if I don't have enough bone?

We identify this at the CBCT scan stage. Where bone grafting is required it is set out in your written treatment plan and quotation. In many cases it can be carried out alongside the main surgery.
How long do implants last?

Properly placed and maintained, modern dental implants are designed for long-term service. Published systematic reviews — such as Pjetursson (2012) and Moraschini (2015) — report implant survival rates of around 95–97% at five years and 90–95% at ten years across modern implant systems. Long-term outcomes depend on the individual case, oral hygiene, smoking status, general health, and adherence to maintenance reviews. No implant can be guaranteed for life.
