§ 01About these terms
These terms govern your relationship with Bright Blue Dental Practice, which operates the implant service marketed under the branding "Bournemouth Dental Implants". They apply alongside any specific written treatment plan we issue to you, and any consent forms you sign before treatment.
Where these terms conflict with the written treatment plan, the treatment plan takes priority.
§ 02Use of the website
This website is provided for general information and to allow patients and prospective patients to enquire about treatment. Information published here is not a substitute for personal clinical advice.
- You may view, download and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use.
- You must not attempt to disrupt the website, access it by automated means or use it for any unlawful purpose.
- Photography, illustrations and written content are protected by copyright. Reproduction outside the personal-use scope above requires our written permission.
§ 03Enquiries & booking
Enquiries submitted through the website are routed to brightbluedental@gmail.com. We aim to respond within one working day.
Booking through the website reserves an indicative appointment only. The booking is confirmed once we have spoken to you to verify the appointment type and have received the consultation fee where applicable.
§ 04Consultations
The implant consultation is a 45-minute clinical appointment that typically includes:
- Full intra-oral and extra-oral examination
- 3D imaging where clinically indicated
- A considered clinical opinion and discussion of treatment options
- A written treatment plan, sent to you within two working days
The consultation fee is £150. The fee is offset against treatment costs if you proceed within twelve months.
§ 05Treatment plans & fees
Every patient receives a written treatment plan after consultation. This document sets out:
- The recommended treatment and any clinically reasonable alternatives
- The sequence and timing of appointments
- A fixed-price quotation that includes laboratory and material costs
- Identifiable optional items, such as IV sedation or additional bone grafting
The quotation is valid for 90 days. After 90 days, fees may be revised in line with our then-current price list.
§ 06Payment & finance
Payment is taken in instalments aligned to treatment stages, as set out in the written plan. We accept all major debit and credit cards and bank transfer.
Finance is available through an authorised third-party provider, subject to status. Full terms are provided before any finance agreement is signed; we are not the lender and earn no commission on finance referred through us.
§ 07Cancellations & missed appointments
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a booked appointment. Where less notice is given:
- The £150 consultation fee is non-refundable but may be transferred once.
- For surgical and prosthetic appointments, up to 50% of the relevant stage fee may be retained to cover laboratory and theatre costs already incurred.
- Repeat short-notice cancellations may, at our discretion, result in withdrawal of the treatment plan and refund of any remaining balance.
§ 08Clinical responsibility
Treatment is provided under the personal clinical responsibility of the named clinicians on your treatment plan. Both clinicians are registered with the General Dental Council and carry full professional indemnity.
You agree to disclose all relevant medical history and to follow post-operative instructions, including attendance at scheduled review appointments. Failure to follow clinical advice may compromise the long-term outcome of treatment and may invalidate any associated guarantee.
§ 09Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to the above, our total liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, or from any non-clinical matter, is limited to the total fees paid by you in the preceding twelve months.
§ 10Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date you accessed it. Material changes affecting active patients will be communicated by email.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
