§ Pricing questions

Common questions about the fee.

Why is there an upfront consultation fee?

The £150 fee covers a full clinical examination, any imaging required to plan your case, and the written clinical opinion that follows. The appointment is led by a prosthodontist and runs for 45 minutes. If you proceed with treatment the £150 is offset against the final fee.

Will the final bill match the written quote?

Yes. The written treatment plan given to you after consultation is a fixed-price quote. It does not change unless the clinical situation itself changes materially — and any such change is discussed with you and agreed in writing before proceeding.

What is not included?

The fee does not cover optional IV sedation (£600) or unrelated dental work identified during consultation. General dentistry, fillings, or root canal treatment on other teeth are priced separately.

Do you offer insurance-assisted treatment?

Implant treatment is not usually covered by standard UK dental insurance. Some private health policies cover portions. We provide full itemised invoices to support any reimbursement claim.

What happens if an implant fails?

Modern dental implants have excellent long-term outcomes — published systematic reviews (Pjetursson 2012, Moraschini 2015) report survival rates of around 95–97% at five years across the implant systems we use. In the rare event of early implant failure (within 12 months of placement) we replace the implant at no additional cost; this guarantee is written into your treatment agreement.
